Reza Michael Mozayeni, M.D., is a board certified ophthalmologist
and fellowship-trained cornea specialist. He began performing laser
vision correction in 1995. With a history of more than 18,000
successful vision correction procedures, including over 16,000 LASIK
procedures, Dr. Mozayeni is one of the most experienced eye surgeons in
the region and one of the few cornea specialists performing and
specializing in laser vision correction in the United States.

Prior to establishing Providence
Eye & Laser Specialists, Dr.
Mozayeni spent three years as Medical Director of a LASIK-only practice in
Charlotte, and four years as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at
Albany Medical College. He has published multiple articles in the
field of corneal diseases, spoken at national conferences, and is a
contributing author to Cornea, a
nationally recognized medical textbook that is referenced by specialists
within his own field.
As impressive as his credentials are, Dr.
Mozayeni’s most defining quality is his attitude regarding patient care.
He is approachable, truly listens, and treats patients as if they were
members of his family. Dr. Mozayeni is committed to taking the
necessary time with each patient to determine if they are an ideal
candidate, and to discuss the best options that are
available for each individual.
